One of the best 3D urban models of a real world city I have seen in a game to date seems to be this one found at the YouTube link here, it is a model of St. Petersburg as it will be seen on the upcoming Project Gotham Racing game for the XBox 360.
The Project Gotham Racing series from Bizarre Creations (now at version 4) has always been at the forefront of 3D urban modelling in games (I remember spending a lot of time admiring the models in PGR 2 which was out on the first version of the Microsoft console) and from the looks of that vid it will continue to be! Moreover, this might just be a good enough incentive for many of us (including myself) to finally shell out for the 360!
